Hole #17 (Long Hole) Par 5 – This Par 5 is designed with the 14 hole at St. Andrews in mind. Accuracy off the tee is a must. The second shot is very critical to playing the hole well. This split fairway gives you two options. The aggressive play is to lay up at the 150 yard marker on the left, this is the narrowest part of the fairway with OB just left of the cart path. This side will give you the best visual third shot. The safest second shot is down the right side, but keep in mind the environmental area just past the 150 yard marker. If your going for the green be sure to have enough club. Hell bunker is lurking in between the two fairways about 130 yards from the green and a series of pot bunkers protect the green. Once you get to this double green the fun is just beginning. This is the largest green on the course 63 yards from side to side. Make sure you know the correct pin location or you will have the longest putt of your life.
