Pool Opening Update

Dear Valued Signature Members:
 
The pool will open for the season this Friday, June 5th at 11:00 am. In our continuing effort to provide a safe experience for our Members, and help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Signature pool experience will be much different in 2020. Please read thru this entire e-mail as many of the questions we have been getting over the past few weeks will be answered below.
 
POOL HOURS OF OPERATION
The pool will be open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm Tuesday thru Sunday.
The pool will be closed on Mondays.
There will be two sessions each day and reservations will be required for all Members to utilize the pool.
 
SESSION #1
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
SESSION #2
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

In an effort to minimize gathering, we ask that you please arrive no more than five minutes prior to the start of the session. The pool will be closed for the one hour between 2:00 and 3:00 so that our staff can clean and sanitize the pool furniture and restrooms. 

 
RESERVATIONS
The method for making pool reservations will be via the ClubCentral by ForeTees app. If you have not yet downloaded the ClubCentral app, instructions on how to do so are included in a link in the red box at the bottom of this e-mail. Reservations will be available 72 hours in advance. We ask that Members only make one reservation per day.
 
At this time we are not allowing guests at the pool. The lone exception is a grandparent or nanny who will bring Member children to the pool. 

We have set up the pool deck to meet the Responsible RestartOhio standard for social distancing. We must insist that you do not move furniture around the deck.

There are a total of 30 "pods" set up on the pool deck for Member seating. Each pod will be able to accommodate between two (2) and eight (8) Members based on the amount of furniture in each pod. We anticipate being able to accommodate between 100 and 120 Members per session based on the number of people per reservation. We are allowing Member families to share a pod if they so choose. POOL AMENITIES
There are amenities that will not be available when the pool opens for the season on Friday. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
  • SLIDE CLOSED AND NOT IN SERVICE
  • SPA/HOT TUB CLOSED AND NOT IN SERVICE
  • NO TOWELS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE CLUB
  • SHARED OBJECTS SUCH AS POOL NOODLES AND BALLS ARE PROHIBITED
SWIMMING
Hastings Water Works will again serve as our aquatics management operator in 2020. All lifeguards are employees of Hastings Water Works. The lifeguards will enforce social distancing in the pool itself. Small orange cones will surround the pool in six (6) foot increments to assist swimmers maintain social distancing.
 
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE
The pool canteen will be providing food & beverage service this summer. However, Members will not be permitted to enter the canteen. All orders will be placed via the mobile food ordering module of the ClubCentral by ForeTees app. I cannot stress enough the importance of downloading and utilizing the ClubCentral app. Without the app, you will not be able to order food from the pool canteen. It is also the easiest and most convenient way to make a reservation to attend a daily pool session. The Signature staff will deliver the order to your pod on the pool deck. All F&B orders will be Member Charge. We will not be accepting cash at the pool this summer.

As a reminder, coolers and outside food & beverage are not permitted at the pool at any time.

SAFETY FIRST
It is important to note that the guidelines and protocols listed above may evolve over time as the situation continues to develop. Please pay close attention to future e-mail communication and newly posted signage. It is imperative that everyone cooperates with both the Signature staff and the Hastings Water Works lifeguards in order to produce a fun and safe pool experience for everyone.
